What it is
The Biasi BI1291500 is a central heating pressure switch membrane for Biasi gas boilers. It forms the flexible diaphragm inside the pressure switch, moving in response to changes in system pressure so the switch can signal the appliance's control board. This version applies to appliances built from serial number N103771106 up to N105801106.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire on a central heating demand even though the pump is running
- Ignition is intermittent, or the appliance locks out repeatedly
- The boiler short-cycles or cuts out shortly after firing
- The membrane is visibly hardened, split, perished or distorted on inspection
- The pressure switch does not operate when system pressure changes
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance serial number falls between N103771106 and N105801106
- Check the boiler model matches Biasi RIVA Compact HE M96.28SM/c2
- Inspect the existing pressure switch and compare the part number before ordering
- Confirm the fault lies with the membrane rather than the switch body or its wiring
