What it is
The Biasi BI1262118 is a condensate trap used on Biasi condensing gas boilers. It collects the condensate produced during combustion and discharges it to the drainage point while maintaining a water seal against flue gases. It is fitted across the Garda, RIVA and Parva HE appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water leaking from the trap body or its connections
- Condensate overflowing from the trap instead of draining away
- Gurgling or bubbling noises from the condensate route
- Boiler locking out or failing to fire because the trap is blocked or the seal has been lost
- Visible cracks, distortion or heavy scale and sludge build-up in the trap
