The Biasi BI1193109 is a combustion chamber overheat thermostat used on Riva Plus HE ERP boilers. It monitors temperature at the combustion chamber and interrupts the burner circuit if the boiler overheats, protecting the appliance from sustained excessive temperatures. The thermostat is a safety device within the boiler's control chain.
