What it is
The Biasi BI1016105 is an air pressure switch for Biasi gas boilers, built as a Natalini type M switch rated at 1.6MB. It proves airflow from the combustion fan before the boiler is allowed to fire. It is used on 28SE variants of the Biasi Prisma, Garda and RIVA ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler locks out after the fan starts, with no burner ignition
- Fan runs but the boiler fails to fire on a demand for heat
- Repeated or intermittent lockouts that clear on reset
- Fault code indicating an air pressure or fan proving fault
- Boiler fires only occasionally or drops out during operation
