What it is
The Biasi BI1011505 is a microswitch kit intended for use in Biasi gas boilers. It provides the switching contacts that respond to mechanical movement within the appliance, such as a lever, cam or actuator operating a fan, pump or valve circuit. The kit supersedes the earlier code BG1011505.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire or respond when there is a demand for heat or hot water.
- Operation is intermittent, with the appliance cutting in and out without a clear pattern.
- The switch contacts show burning, pitting or discolouration.
- The actuator no longer produces a clean click, or the lever feels loose or stiff.
- Fault-finding points to a switching circuit that is not making or breaking correctly.
