What it is
The Altecnic 15mm x 10mm Reducing Bullet is a reducing insert used in Ecocal radiator valves. It steps a 15mm valve connection down to 10mm so that 10mm pipework can be connected to the valve. It is supplied by Altecnic as an individual service part for installation or repair work on the Ecocal range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the valve connection after the pipe has been fitted
- The bullet is missing from the valve, so a 10mm pipe cannot be seated correctly
- Scale, corrosion or debris on the bullet prevents a sound joint
- The bullet is deformed, scored or cross-threaded from a previous fitting
