What it is

The Baxi Pump Kit UPM3 6 ND is a circulating pump assembly supplied by Baxi for its heating appliances. It drives water around the primary circuit, carrying heat from the heat exchanger out to the radiators and hot water cylinder. The UPM3 6 ND marking identifies the pump head type used in this kit.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The pump runs but the system stays cold, or radiators heat unevenly across the property
  • Grinding, humming or rattling noise coming from the pump body
  • The appliance locks out or overheats shortly after firing
  • The pump head does not turn when there is a call for heat
  • Repeated air locking in the primary circuit after bleeding

Before you order

  • Match part number 7713520 against the label on the existing pump or the appliance's spare parts list
  • Check the appliance GC number and serial number to confirm the correct variant
  • Inspect the pump gasket or O-ring seal and renew it if it is compressed or perished
  • This is not a gas-carrying component, but work on the water circuit still requires the system to be drained and isolated first
