What it is

The Altecnic 1/2 F Non-Return Valve is a check valve from the Altecnic check valve range, sized at 1/2 with a female connection. It is fitted in boiler and heating pipework to allow flow in one direction only and prevent backflow through the circuit. The valve is supplied under part number BA-300040.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water passes through the valve in the wrong direction, allowing backflow in the circuit
