What it is
This is an Altecnic 1/2 foot filter for a non-return valve, supplied as part of the Altecnic Y-strainers range. It sits at the strainer body and traps debris carried in the system water before it reaches the non-return valve. It is used on boiler installations where a Y-strainer is fitted ahead of a non-return valve.
