What it is
The Kinder B-63560 is an 8mm olive, the small metal ring that sits inside a compression fitting and compresses onto the pipe to form a seal when the nut is tightened. It is supplied as a service item for pipework and fittings encountered during heating and plumbing work.
Before you order
- Confirm the pipe outside diameter is 8mm; the olive size must match the pipe, not the fitting thread.
- Check the existing olive has been removed and the pipe end is clean and free of old compound before fitting a new one.
- Confirm the fitting body and nut are sound, as a new olive will not seal against a damaged seat.
