What it is
The B-17860S is a loose coal pack manufactured by Flavel Fires for gas fires and stoves. The coals sit on the burner tray to form the fuel bed, shaping the flame picture and radiating heat into the room. This 16-inch coal set is supplied as loose coals for individual placement on site.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Coals are cracked, chipped or crumbling
- Coals have discoloured or blackened and cannot be cleaned back
- Sooting, a lazy flame or an uneven flame picture across the fuel bed
- Coals missing from the set, leaving gaps in the layout
- Coals no longer sit correctly on the burner tray
