What it is
A 3-way diverter valve kit for Ariston Clas HE 24, 30 and 38 boilers, combining the valve's motor actuator with its spring return mechanism. The valve directs the boiler's water flow between the central heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Hot water at the taps but cold radiators, or vice versa
- The valve is stuck part-way, giving lukewarm heating and hot water together
- A clicking, humming or buzzing noise from the valve area
- The boiler loses pressure or locks out around the valve housing
