What it is
A pair of 28mm isolation valves from Altecnic, intended for the Dirtmag IQ™ magnetic filter. They isolate the filter from the heating system so it can be serviced or removed without draining down.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping from the valve spindle
- The valve will not fully shut off, so the filter cannot be isolated
- Stiff, seized or broken handle
- Dripping from the valve body or the compression connections
