What it is
The 2F Y Pattern Strainer is a Y-pattern strainer from Altecnic, supplied within the Altecnic Y-strainers range. It is fitted into pipework on heating and boiler systems to capture debris and particulate before it reaches downstream components. The Y-shaped body allows the strainer element to sit in a pocket off the main flow path, so collected debris can be removed without disturbing the pipe run.
