What it is
The Altecnic 1 1/4F/F Ball Valve with Red Lever Handle is a lever-operated isolation valve with female threaded connections at both ends. It forms part of the Altecnic Ball Valves range and is used to isolate sections of pipework on heating and plumbing systems.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping from the spindle or lever gland when the valve is operated
- Drips from the body joint or threaded connections under system pressure
- The lever turns stiffly or fails to move through its full travel
- The valve passes water when closed, so the section cannot be isolated
