What it is
The Firebird Jubilee Clip for the snorkel hose is a securing clip used to fasten the snorkel hose on Firebird oil-fired appliances. It holds the hose connection tight at the joint to prevent oil weeping and air ingress. It is supplied under Firebird part number ACC000JUB.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion or rust on the clip band or screw
- Oil weeping or a damp film around the snorkel hose joint
- The clip will not tighten, or the screw thread has stripped
- The hose can be moved by hand at the connection
- The clip has been removed and refitted several times and no longer grips
Before you order
- Confirm ACC000JUB matches your appliance against the manufacturer's parts list
- Inspect the snorkel hose itself for splits, hardening or perishing before refitting
- Check the existing clip and hose joint for damage that a new clip alone will not resolve
