What it is

The Hamworthy AA076624 is a wiring harness supplied as a replacement electrical loom for Hamworthy appliances. It carries low-voltage control and sensor signals between the boiler's main PCB and the components it manages, such as the fan, pump, gas valve and temperature sensors. Because it is a manufacturer part, the plug housings, pin count and lead lengths are built to the original pattern for the appliance range it serves.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Intermittent faults or random lockouts that clear on their own, often pointing to a broken conductor or poor terminal contact
  • The boiler fails to fire or the fan, pump or gas valve does not run when the PCB calls for it
  • Insulation that has become brittle, cracked or chafed where the loom passes close to hot or sharp components
  • Overheated, discoloured or corroded connector pins and plug housings
  • Fault codes that persist after the sensor or component at the end of the loom has already been replaced

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list, as Hamworthy uses different looms across its ranges
  • Compare the connector count, plug shape and lead lengths with the harness removed from the boiler before ordering
  • Inspect the terminals at both ends for heat damage, and replace any damaged sensor or component as well as the loom
  • Isolate the electrical supply and follow the manufacturer's wiring diagram when fitting
