What it is

The Ariston 999592 is a spindle knob used on Ariston gas boilers to operate a control spindle on the appliance. It forms the user-facing control for the valve or setting it is mounted to, transmitting rotation from the knob to the spindle. It is listed under control knobs within Ariston gas boiler spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The knob turns freely on the spindle without altering the setting
  • The knob is cracked, split or no longer grips the spindle
  • The knob has come away from the spindle or is missing
  • The spindle or knob is stiff, seized or difficult to turn
  • The knob will not rotate through its full range of travel

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model and edition against the fitment list above
  • Check whether your appliance is the LPG or NG variant, as both are listed
  • Compare the existing knob and spindle arrangement with the manufacturer's parts list for your model
  • Check whether the spindle itself is damaged, as the knob alone will not correct a worn spindle
