What it is
The Ariston 990375 is an earth cable for the fan assembly on Ariston UNO 23 MFFI boilers. It provides the earth connection between the fan and the appliance earthing point, so the fan motor casing remains reliably earthed during operation. It is listed under the Fans category of Ariston gas boiler spares.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The fan runs but the boiler reports an earth or fan-related fault
- Intermittent fan operation traced to a poor earth connection at the fan
- Visible damage, scorching or corrosion on the cable or its terminations
- Loose or frayed cable ends that will not secure correctly at the fan or earthing point
- Continuity testing shows an open circuit through the earth cable
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fit list above, as this cable is listed for the UNO 23 MFFI LPG and NG variants only
- Check the part number on the existing cable or fan assembly before ordering
- Inspect the fan terminals and earthing point for damage that may also need attention
- Verify the fault is with the cable itself rather than the fan motor
