What it is
This is an Ariston support plate, part number 990373, listed for use with the air pressure switch on Ariston gas boilers. It holds and locates the air pressure switch in position on the appliance. It is a small mounting component rather than the switch itself.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The plate is cracked, snapped or visibly distorted
- Mounting lugs or fixing points have broken away
- The air pressure switch sits loose or will not seat correctly on the plate
- Heat damage or brittleness has made the plate unable to hold the switch securely
- The switch position has shifted, affecting its operation
Before you order
- Check your boiler model against the fit list above
- Confirm the part number on the existing component is 990373
- Inspect the existing plate and switch mounting before ordering
- Check whether the air pressure switch itself also needs replacing
