What it is
The Ariston 990359 is a knob spindle used on Ariston UNO 23 MFFI appliances. It forms the shaft that links the control knob to the gas valve, transmitting the turning movement applied at the knob. It is a service part for the UNO 23 MFFI family in both LPG and NG variants.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The control knob turns without operating the gas valve
- The spindle is rounded, worn or damaged at the knob fitting
- The knob sits loose or will not hold on the shaft
- The spindle is seized, making the knob stiff or impossible to turn
Before you order
- Check the appliance rating plate to confirm the model is a UNO 23 MFFI LPG or NG unit
- Confirm the existing spindle is worn or damaged before ordering
- Check whether the knob itself is serviceable and only the spindle needs replacing
