What it is
The Vaillant 981253 Sealing Ring is an EPDM sealing ring listed in the Vaillant gas boiler spares range. It is supplied to the DN 80 x 16 size designation and sits at the joint it is designed to seal, forming a compression seal between mating faces. It is a consumable item rather than a repair component, so it is normally renewed whenever the joint is broken.
Before you order
- Check the part number 981253 against the appliance parts list, or against the marking on the ring being replaced.
- Confirm the DN 80 x 16 size designation matches the joint being sealed.
- Confirm EPDM is suitable for the medium and the operating temperature at that joint.
