What it is

The Vokera 9763 is a straight-pattern flow and return isolation valve with a 3/4 connection, used on Vokera gas boilers. It isolates the heating circuit at the boiler so the appliance can be drained or worked on without emptying the whole system. This valve supersedes the earlier code 7835.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water weeping from the valve body, spindle or gland nut
  • The valve spindle is seized and will not turn by hand
  • The valve will not shut off fully, so the boiler cannot be isolated
  • Corrosion or scale build-up around the connections
  • Visible damage to the valve body or union
