What it is

The Valor 97392058 is an expansion valve rated at 6 bar, carrying the LWSS designation. It is a pressure relief and safety component listed within the Valor Group spare parts range for boiler applications. The valve manages pressure within the appliance's heating circuit, protecting the system from overpressure.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • System pressure climbs steadily and does not settle at its normal cold reading
  • Water discharging from the pressure relief pipework when the boiler heats up
  • The pressure gauge reads high even after the system has been topped up and vented
  • Repeated overpressure faults or lockouts during heating cycles
  • Visible scale, corrosion or damage around the valve body or its connections

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list
  • Check that the existing valve is rated at 6 bar and carries the LWSS designation
  • Verify the part number 97392058 matches the component being replaced
  • Inspect the surrounding pipework and connections for damage before fitting
