What it is
The Potterton 972819 Boiler Sensor QAL 36 is a return temperature sensor used on Potterton Commercial Paramount appliances. It monitors the temperature of the returning heating water and feeds that reading back to the boiler control. That signal is used by the control to regulate firing and protect the appliance from operating outside its design conditions.
