What it is
This is the flue pipe gasket listed by Potterton under part number 972208, supplied here as GASKET - FLUE PIPE 70MM. It forms the seal at the flue pipe connection on Potterton Commercial Paramount appliances, closing the joint so that flue products and condensate stay inside the flue path. It is a service item, replaced whenever the flue pipe joint is broken or the existing seal has deteriorated.
