What it is
The Grundfos Watermill Amazon SSN-2.0B is a brass-bodied pump unit from the Grundfos Watermill Amazon range. It is the universal variant of the SSN-2.0B model and is used to boost water pressure in domestic plumbing systems. It is supplied under part number 96787504.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Pumped outlet pressure is noticeably weaker than it was, or flow drops away when a second outlet is opened
- The pump runs hot, or the motor housing becomes unusually warm during normal use
- Grinding, rumbling or excessive vibration from the pump when it runs
- Water weeping from the pump body, unions or seal area
- The pump fails to start when a tap or outlet is opened, or trips the circuit protection
Before you order
- Confirm the existing pump is marked SSN-2.0B before ordering, as the Amazon range covers several models
- Check that the brass universal variant matches the unit being replaced
- Inspect the surrounding pipework, unions and flexibles for condition, since they are not part of this item
