What it is
The Baxi 95612719 is a control thermostat assembly supplied with its wiring harness, used to regulate stored water temperature on unvented hot water cylinders. It is fitted to Baxi Assure cylinders and Heatrae Sadia Megaflo ECO PLUS models. The thermostat switches the cylinder's heat source according to the setpoint, so the stored water is held at the required temperature.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Stored water no longer reaches the set temperature
- Cylinder water runs cold or only lukewarm after a full heating cycle
- Water temperature fluctuates or overshoots the setpoint
- Thermostat dial has no effect on the cylinder's heat source
- Heat source fails to switch off once the setpoint is reached
