Heatrae Sadia Element Plate 6kW 95606002

The Heatrae Sadia Element Plate (6 kW), part 95606002, is a plate-mounted immersion heating element assembly supplied for Heatrae Sadia Supreme unvented hot water cylinders. It sits on the cylinder boss and provides the electrical heating load that brings the stored domestic hot water up to temperature. The assembly is rated at 6 kW, which sets the heat input and therefore the recovery time of the cylinder.

• No hot water from the cylinder with the immersion circuit confirmed live.
• The element circuit trips the RCD or MCB as soon as it is energised.
• Continuity or resistance testing across the element terminals reads open circuit.
• Heating becomes slow or intermittent, typically with heavy scale deposited on the plate.
• Water weeping from the element plate gasket or cylinder boss.

• Confirm the cylinder is one of the Heatrae Sadia Supreme or Supreme SS models listed above.
• Check that the existing element is rated at 6 kW, as a different rating changes the electrical load and recovery time.
• Inspect the condition of the boss seal or gasket, as a disturbed plate will normally need a sound seal on refitting.
• Note the cylinder model and volume reference before ordering, as the assembly is listed against specific models.
