The Heatrae Sadia element plate assembly (part 95606001) is a 3 kW heating element mounted in a plate, used in Heatrae Sadia Supreme and Supreme SS water heaters. It provides the electrical heating for the stored water. The part is supplied as an assembly.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • No hot water, or the stored water not reaching the set temperature
  • RCD or circuit breaker tripping when the heater is energised
  • Element resistance reading outside the expected value for a 3 kW element
  • Visible scale build-up, corrosion or pitting on the element plate
  • Water weeping from the element plate gasket or mounting face
