What it is
The Mixing Valve Assy (EXP520M) is a shower mixing valve assembly manufactured by Valor, carrying part number 93797634. It blends the hot and cold water supplies to deliver a stable outlet temperature at the shower head. It is listed within the diverter valves category of Valor Group spare parts.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Outlet temperature fluctuates between hot and cold during use
- The shower runs cold or fails to reach temperature even with the hot supply confirmed
- Temperature drifts noticeably when another outlet or appliance draws water
- The valve becomes stiff, noisy or difficult to adjust
- Scale or debris build-up in the mixing chamber causes erratic blending
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check that the existing valve is marked EXP520M or that the part number 93797634 matches your unit
- Verify the valve is accessible and that the water supply can be isolated before work begins
- Retain the old assembly for comparison of connections and orientation
