What it is
The Valor dummy solenoid elbow (part 93590522) is a spare component listed within the Valor Group spare parts range. It forms part of the solenoid assembly on California and Advantage appliances, directing and sealing the water path at the valve elbow. It is supplied as the elbow component only.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the elbow joint
- Visible cracking, scaling or corrosion on the elbow body
- The elbow no longer seats or seals correctly against the solenoid assembly
- Reduced or erratic water flow through the valve
- Leaks that appear only when the appliance is running
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a California or Advantage variant
- Check the existing elbow against part number 93590522
- Inspect the solenoid coil and seals for damage before refitting
- Establish whether the elbow or the solenoid itself is at fault
