What it is
The Vokera 2 amp fuse (part number 8968) is a low-rated electrical protection fuse used in Vokera gas boilers. It protects the appliance's control circuit by breaking the supply if current exceeds the 2 amp rating. It supersedes the earlier code 48917.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler is completely dead with no display or indicator lights
- The fuse has blown, shown by a broken element or blackened glass
- The fuse blows again immediately after replacement, indicating a fault elsewhere in the circuit
- Intermittent power loss to the boiler controls
