What it is
The Vokera 8900 is a pilot sight glass used on Vokera Eclipse gas boilers. It provides the viewing window through which the pilot flame and burner ignition can be observed during servicing and fault finding. It is listed by the manufacturer under gas boiler spares.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The glass is cracked, chipped or crazed.
- Soot, staining or discolouration on the glass obscures a clear view of the pilot flame.
- Condensation or moisture is trapped behind the glass.
- The glass is missing or has come loose from its seating.
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above.
- Check the part number 8900 matches the number shown in the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance.
- Inspect the glass and its seating for damage so the correct item is ordered.
