What it is
The PCB RI is the main printed circuit board fitted to a number of Worcester Bosch gas boilers. It carries the boiler's control electronics, running the ignition sequence, fan and pump outputs, and reading the temperature sensors and safety inputs that keep the appliance operating within its limits. This replacement board is supplied under Worcester Bosch part number 87483008550 and covers the earlier board numbers 87186871640, 87161063990 and 8716119385.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire, or locks out with no fault found elsewhere in the ignition or gas train
