Worcester Bosch Printed Circuit Board Greenstar and RD Series 87483005120

The Worcester Bosch 87483005120 is a printed circuit board (PCB) used as the control centre of Greenstar and RD Series boilers. It monitors and manages every process running through the appliance, reading inputs from switches, thermostats and sensors and issuing the commands that keep combustion, heating and hot water operation in step. It also carries the boiler's safety logic, shutting down functions when internal readings point to a fault such as high pressure or a low water level.

• The boiler shows no display or fails to power up when the supply is live.
• The appliance locks out repeatedly, or a fault code returns after resetting.
• Heating or hot water runs intermittently, with the boiler cutting out mid-cycle.
• Sensors and switches read correctly at the terminals but the boiler does not respond to them.
• The board shows visible heat damage, tracking or a blown fuse on the PCB itself.

• Check the GC number and appliance serial plate against the compatibility list before ordering, as the same boiler range can carry more than one board variant.
• Confirm the previous number 87483004180 is the board currently fitted, or that the appliance is listed as compatible with 87483005120.
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
• Inspect the board connector plugs and any seals disturbed during removal, and replace them if they are brittle or damaged.
