What it is
The Worcester Bosch pump cable kit, part number 8738903609, is a wiring accessory for the Greenstar Condens 7000 series of gas boilers. It carries the electrical supply to the boiler's circulating pump. The kit is produced by Worcester Bosch for use on the models listed below.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Cracked, brittle or perished insulation on the pump cable
- Scorching, discolouration or a burnt smell around the cable ends or connectors
- Pump running intermittently, cutting out, or failing to start
- Loose, corroded or heat-damaged terminals at either end of the cable
- Visible chafing or mechanical damage along the cable run
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above before ordering
- Inspect the existing cable and connectors so you can match the routing and terminations
- Check whether the fault lies with the pump itself rather than the cable
- Isolate the electrical supply and follow the manufacturer's instructions before fitting
