Worcester Bosch Horizontal Louver M3 Air Deflector 8738203489

The horizontal louver M3 air deflector is a Worcester Bosch component supplied under part number 8738203489. It forms part of the air path on the Worcester WAA IU 6 heat pump, where the louvered face guides and directs the airflow passing through the unit. It is a panel-type part rather than a mechanical or electrical component, so fitment is a straightforward mechanical task once the correct model has been confirmed.

• Visible distortion, buckling or bent louver blades across the deflector face
• Corrosion, surface breakdown or coating loss on the louver panel
• Cracks, splits or missing sections of the louvered area
• The panel no longer sits correctly in its mounting position or has worked loose
• Airflow through the unit is visibly misdirected at the deflector face

• Confirm the appliance is a Worcester WAA IU 6 heat pump
• Check the existing deflector carries part number 8738203489, or that the number matches the unit's documentation
• Confirm the deflector is the horizontal louver type, as orientation is part of the part identity
• Inspect the surrounding panels and fixings for damage before fitting, so the new deflector seats correctly
