What it is
The Worcester Bosch code plug (part 8737708830) is a configuration component for the Greenstar 24RI ErP+ NG appliance. It tells the control board which gas type and output the boiler is set up for, so the appliance runs to the correct parameters. It is specific to the 24kW natural gas version.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to fire or locks out after a board or code plug change
- Combustion settings do not match the gas type installed
- Configuration or gas type fault codes appear on the appliance
- The plug is missing, damaged, or its pins are corroded
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Greenstar 24RI ErP+ NG
- Check the gas type — this plug is for natural gas, not LPG
- Match the part number 8737708830 against the plug fitted
- Check the model and GC number on the appliance data badge
