What it is
Motor for a 3-way valve, manufactured by Worcester Bosch. It drives the diverter valve that switches water flow between central heating and domestic hot water in Greenstar 1000, 2000 and 4000 series boilers. The motor operates the valve to direct flow to the correct circuit.
Signs this part needs replacing

- The valve actuator does not move when the boiler calls for heat or hot water
- Boiler locks out or displays a fault code relating to the diverter valve
- Whirring or buzzing from the valve area with no change in water flow
- The valve remains stuck in one position
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model number against the fit list above
- Check the part number on the existing motor matches 8737602357
- Inspect the valve body for scale or damage before fitting a new motor
- Isolate the boiler from the electrical supply before carrying out any work
