What it is

The SUPPORT (EXPANSION VESSEL) is a mounting bracket manufactured by Worcester Bosch, part number 8737602308. It holds the expansion vessel in position within the appliance casing on Greenstar combi and system boilers. The bracket keeps the vessel secure and correctly located against the boiler's internal mountings.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The expansion vessel is loose or moves within the casing
  • The vessel sits at an angle or has dropped away from its mounting position
  • Visible corrosion, cracking or distortion on the existing support
  • Rattle or knocking from the vessel area during operation
  • The support no longer holds the vessel securely after removal and refitting

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the fit list above
  • Check the existing support for damage before ordering a replacement
  • Verify the part number 8737602308 matches the component currently fitted
  • Isolate the appliance and depressurise the system before removing the expansion vessel or its support
