What it is
The Intergas 873337 is a retaining clip for the NTC 1 and NTC 2 temperature sensors fitted to Intergas gas boilers. It holds the thermistors in their mounting position so the control board receives a stable temperature signal from each sensor. Two clips are required per boiler.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The clip is cracked, brittle or has snapped, leaving the sensor loose
- The NTC sensor can be moved or pulled free by hand from its mounting point
- Temperature readings fluctuate or the boiler cycles erratically because the sensor is not seated correctly
- A clip is missing after servicing or sensor replacement
- The sensor has fallen out of position and the boiler locks out or reports a sensor fault
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the fit list above
- Check whether the NTC 1 clip, the NTC 2 clip or both need replacing
- Establish whether the fault lies with the clip or with the sensor itself, as the thermistor is a separate component
- Note that two clips are required per boiler if both sensors are being secured
