What it is

This is a Worcester Bosch O-ring, measuring 12.37mm x 2.62mm and manufactured in EPDM rubber. It is a sealing component used within Worcester Greenstar combi appliance assemblies, where it seats between mating surfaces to prevent water or gas leakage at the joint. The part is identified by Worcester Bosch part number 87228801630.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible water weeping or dripping from the joint the O-ring seals
  • Hardening, flattening or surface cracking of the rubber
  • Swelling or distortion of the O-ring, preventing it seating correctly
  • Persistent pressure loss traced to a failed seal at the joint

Before you order

  • Confirm the part number 87228801630 matches the component being removed
  • Check the O-ring dimensions and material against the failed seal before ordering
  • Verify the appliance model against the fitment list above
  • Inspect the mating surfaces for scoring or debris that could damage a new seal
