What it is

This is the heat exchanger assembly for Worcester Bosch Greenstar Camray 25/32 oil-fired condensing boilers, supplied under part number 87186869170. It is the painted assembly that transfers heat from the combustion gases into the boiler water circuit. It forms the primary heat transfer component of the appliance.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water leaking from the heat exchanger body or its connections
  • Repeated kettling or banging noises from the boiler during operation
  • Overheating or the boiler locking out on a high-limit fault
  • Combustion readings outside the expected range with no other cause found
  • Visible corrosion, scaling or deformation of the heat exchanger surfaces

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model is a Greenstar Camray 25/32 variant
  • Check the existing part number against 87186869170 before ordering
