What it is
This is the Worcester Bosch pipe that connects the pump to the secondary heat exchanger (SHE) on Greenstar Heatslave II 12/18 ErP appliances. It forms part of the primary water circuit, carrying flow between the two components. The part is identified by the manufacturer's reference 87186856390.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping, damp staining or corrosion at the pipe ends or along its length
- System pressure loss traced to the pipe or its connections
- Joints that will not seal, or show scale and leak history once disturbed
- A kinked, crushed or deformed pipe restricting flow between pump and heat exchanger
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Greenstar Heatslave II 12/18 ErP, including the EXT variant where applicable
- Match the part number 87186856390 against the component being removed
- Establish that the fault lies with the pipe rather than the pump or the secondary heat exchanger
