What it is
The PIPE - FILLING LOOP is a Worcester Bosch filling loop assembly (part number 87186804630) designed for the Greenstar Highflow 440CDI and 550CDI boiler ranges. It connects the mains water supply to the heating circuit so the sealed system can be topped up and brought to the correct pressure. The loop is a serviceable component and is replaced when the connection no longer holds pressure or the valves fail to seal.
Signs this part needs replacing
- System pressure will not hold after topping up, even with the filling loop valves closed
- Water weeping or dripping from the loop body or its connections
- Filling valve handle will not turn, is stiff, or fails to shut off fully
- Boiler pressure rises on its own with the filling loop left connected
- Visible scale, corrosion or damage on the loop pipework
