The Worcester Bosch 871860079A0 is a gas valve nut used on Worcester Bosch gas boilers, including the Greenstar 1000 Series and Greenstar 25Si Compact ranges. It forms part of the gas valve assembly, securing the gas valve connection so the joint stays gas-tight under operating pressure. It is a serviceable fixing rather than a control component, and is replaced when the original nut is damaged, corroded or disturbed during gas valve work.
