What it is
The Buderus 3/8 inch automatic air vent purging system is a heating system component that releases air from the heating circuit. It is listed for 62 Buderus appliance models across the Gb312, G20, G25, G215, Gb402 and Logano PLUS ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Gurgling or banging noises from the radiators or pipework, which can indicate air in the system
- Cold spots at the top of radiators that do not heat up while the rest of the radiator is warm
- Frequent loss of system pressure that needs topping up
- Water dripping or weeping from the vent body
- The vent no longer releasing air when the system is run
Before you order
- Check the boiler make and model against the fits list above, including any appliance code shown after the model name.
- Confirm the existing connection is 3/8 inch before ordering.
- Check whether the system has other air or pressure faults, such as a leaking pressure relief valve or a low expansion vessel charge, before fitting a new vent.

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
