What it is
This is a Worcester Bosch gas injector for LPG-fuelled appliances. The injector controls the velocity of the gas passing into the burner or pilot assembly, so it has to match both the boiler model and the gas type (LPG here, not natural gas).
Signs this part needs replacing
- Poor or lazy ignition, or repeated ignition lockouts
- Yellow, sooty or uneven flame instead of a clean blue flame
- Visible corrosion or a partially blocked injector orifice
- Boiler running inefficiently or losing power output

- Confirm your boiler is the LPG variant, not natural gas — injectors for the two gas types differ and are not interchangeable
- Match the diameter and thread stamped on your existing injector to 3.1mm / RS 1/8
