Worcester Bosch Code Plug Low NOx NG 30kW 8716122398

This is a Worcester Bosch code plug supplied under part number 8716122398. It is the Low NOx natural gas 30kW variant, used on Greenstar 4000 Combi and GR4700iW 30 C NG combi appliances. The code plug carries the appliance configuration data that the control board reads on commissioning, so the boiler runs to the correct combustion settings for its fuel type and output.

• The boiler locks out or fails to complete its ignition sequence after the control board has been changed.
• Repeated fault codes relating to the appliance configuration or combustion setup appear on the display.
• The boiler fires but will not hold a stable flame, or cuts out shortly after lighting.
• Combustion readings sit outside the expected range for a 30kW NG appliance and cannot be corrected by normal adjustment.
• The plug body is cracked, heat-damaged or its pins are corroded or loose in the board header.

• Check the GC number and the full model name on the appliance data badge, and match these against the compatibility list above.
• Confirm the existing code plug matches the Low NOx NG 30kW specification, as other fuel types and outputs use different plugs.
• Note the alternative part number 8922940 when cross-referencing an older stock reference.
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
